Let’s go to Japan!

Let’s go to Japan!

Have you ever wanting to go to Japan? I bet you have because Japan is one of the most favorite destinations to travel in the world since it offers so many unique places to go as the matter of fact, every year especially in spring season millions of tourist go to Japan to just see the beautiful blooming sakura but before you go there here's tips and guidelines that you need to know to make your trips memorable so let me give you information in regard to Japan attractions like from the best time to visit, transportation recommendations, areas to stay in, foods that you need to try, what is the approx budget and of course what are the best places to go in Japan.

First thing first you have to choose the best time of the year to visit Japan and in my opinion is in the spring season because this is the time where the cherry blossoms in bloom which is a very pleasant view to see them with our own eyes and also considering that the temperature was very nice since its not that hot to become a summer and its not cold as winter, therefore, the temperature is just right and not to mention that in spring season, there are a lot of festivals that you can visit but the cons from this season is, it may be crowded due to the bloom of cherry blossom that attracts many tourists around the world also there are lots of national holidays which mean many Japanese will also, therefore, you have to book the accommodation, transportation and any other things that you need far in advance. Many people were wondering how to travel around the country with a budget, so thankfully in Japan, they have a train which connects all the cities and its called Shinkansen, as known as the bullet trains. This is the fastest train in the world so you don’t have to worry about the time that needs to consume since this train only took minutes to go to other cities and don’t be sad if you just traveling across the city because in Japan they also have an MRT which is an in-town train.

The best area to stay is in Shinjuku and Ginza because it is located near the town but as I have experienced before, the room was pretty small so don’t get on high hopes to get a big large rooms if its in the middle of the city but the pros are you can to go to the city whenever you want and there are lots of wide range of shops and very convenient transportation since in Shinjuku and Ginza has many trains stations also not to mention that there are many reasonably price of restaurant around the city. Japan was always known for their famous foods, yes, sushi well its almost impossible if you didn’t know what sushi is, so it consists of rice ball stacked with raw fish and you may think why I have to go to Japan just to eat sushi? Let me tell you, sushi in Japan taste is on another level because the fish was straight out from the sea so the quality of the fish was well maintained comparing any part of the world so if you are a true food traveler, the best place to eat sushi in Japan is a restaurant called Sukiyabashi Jiro located in Ginza. Japan has lots of famous street foods that you can buy while walking down the streets, mostly the price is very reasonable and don’t underestimate the taste because its fantastic such as the famous Takoyaki, its a fried batter filled with little pieces of octopus, Yakitori, is a classic finger food that you must try and its like the satay version of Japan and the dessert is the soft ice cream that is served with fresh fruits and mochi.

So what is the approximate budget to travel in Japan? It depends on your lifestyle like if you are a budget traveler like me, it may cost $450 per week where you have to stay in hostel and breakfast at the seven eleven also you have to seek for free activities like only able to sightseeing and enjoy the moment in Japan. If you are a mid-range traveler, it can cost up $850 a week and you be staying in the comfortable hotel but not luxurious also you able to try lots of Japanese food from the budget and the nicer ones and last, if you don’t have to much concern on the budget you may cost $2000 per week where you stay in the luxurious hotel and experience a once in a lifetime of attractions such as go to the Disney land, trying unique foods and even climbing a mountain since Japan has the famous mount called Fuji. But still, if you manage to organize your spending you may also able to experience unique attractions even though you are in the budget.

The places that you need to go in Japan is Kyoto, its a city in Japan that famous for its classical Buddhist temples, you can take a lot of pictures in the famous wooden teahouses wearing kimonos and if you are lucky, you will meet lots of monkeys there. Next If you bring kids, I recommend you to go to the Disney sea because you cant found this type of Disney land in any other part of the world because its specially  made one of a kind in Japan only, the difference from the other ordinary Disneyland because its located in the middle of the lake and even Disney specially created a character named Duffie the fluffy bear as the symbol of Disney sea. Next is, Walking in the Shibuya crossing street as you go to the Shibuya trains center where they have a statue of a loyal dog named Hachiko, you have to take a picture with this statue even though some people may think it is overrated. Last but not least I recommend you to go to the mount fuji because the view was very beautiful as you can see that the top of the mountain is covered with snows, therefore, you have to go there or at least take a picture with Mount Fiji from the bottom if you don’t want to climb it.

After you enjoy traveling in Japan you may need souvenirs to bring back the memories you, therefore, here's the recommendation of souvenirs ideas. You can but beautiful chopsticks that is engraved with your name, kimonos, cute things like Disney related stuff because in Japan, they came up with lots of unique things that you can resist to buy and also Japan is famous from its interesting flavours of snacks so while you’re in Japan, you might as well to buy kit Kat with unique flavors such as wasabi, green tea, Sakura and they even got a sake which is a traditional alcohol drinks. You also have to buy the famous Tokyo banana and Tokyo milk cheese as a gift for your families and friends. But if you are in a tight budget, you can buy the souvenirs in Daiso which is a dollar store in Japan.

Going to Japan for holiday always been a great time for me and my family, especially if you visit the places that I have mentioned before. Make sure you choose the right time and date to go there, bring stuff that is necessary, and also you must adapt to the Japanese culture there. Do not break any laws while you are in there, because things going to get awful if you did not respect the law. That is all that I can say for now. May my experience from Japan can help you find the right places to go and can guide you while you are in there. Thank you and see you in the next post!
